The latest issues with the first online registration assessment have left many of the population of exam candidates with little or no confidence in the arrangements and wondering what else may go wrong between now and receiving their results.

PDA Covid-19 vaccination portal helped over 1100 locum pharmacists

The PDA were concerned that some locum pharmacists could have been missed from the population of frontline health professionals to be allocated a Covid-19 vaccination, and therefore agreed with NHS England that we would develop a web portal to capture the details of locums that needed vaccinations.

Later in the same week that the PDA launched our #getvaccinated campaign for pharmacists, the British Asian Trust hosted a seminar to discuss the Covid-19 vaccination programme and facts for the BAME community, attended by a PDA representative.

PDA zero tolerance of abuse in pharmacies posters

The PDA has released posters emphasising zero tolerance of abuse in pharmacies which it encourages all members to print and display in their pharmacy. The awareness of this policy is key if patient behaviour is to be influenced.

LloydsPharmacy and the PDA Union reach recognition agreement for pharmacists

Pharmacists at LloydsPharmacy will in future be able to negotiate over certain terms and conditions and be consulted on matters which impact on their employment, through the PDA Union.
