The PDA has developed this Being a Mentor course to support you as a member in your role. Mentoring can be formal or informal and we want you to further develop the skills that you need to be an effective mentor.
This online programme is self directed and can be completed at your own pace.
This programme will enable you to:
- Learn about the role of a mentor in pharmacy and the impact of mentoring support
- Explore some mentoring models
- Learn how to build goof relationships with mentees
- Learn how to develop effective communication skills
- Practice critical reflection to monitor and review your skills and knowledge development
Once you have clicked the ‘Enroll Today’ button, you should receive an email from Instructure.com within 24 hours. Please check your junk mail. once you have followed the instructions then you should be able to log into Canvas, our education hub and see the course on your Dashboard, but you will not be able to access the full course content until 14 August 2024 when the course opens.
