This limited-time initiative was launched on 15 April 2026 to mark Pharmacist Support’s 185th anniversary. It is a simple but impactful way for members to contribute to the wellbeing of colleagues across the profession.
Make your membership count
Since 2017, each year the PDA has donated £1 per member to Pharmacist Support, resulting in more than £340,000 in donations to date. This makes the PDA the charity’s largest regular institutional supporter.

Now, for a limited period, every new or renewed membership will double that impact.
Pharmacist Support provides confidential emotional, financial and wellbeing support to pharmacists, trainees, students and their families. Each year, the charity helps more than 5,000 people facing issues such as workplace stress, burnout, financial hardship and personal crisis.
Act Now: Support Your Colleagues
With the 15 May deadline approaching, the PDA is encouraging pharmacists to take action now:
- Join the PDA if you are not yet a member
- Renew your membership if it is due
- Help double the contribution to Pharmacist Support during this limited period
This is an opportunity to not only access the benefits of PDA membership but also to directly contribute to a vital support network for the profession.
Supporting Mental Health Across the Profession
With Mental Health Awareness Week just days away, this is a timely opportunity to take action and help ensure that no pharmacist has to face challenging times alone.
The PDA remains committed to supporting pharmacists both professionally and personally, and by joining or renewing membership, individuals can play a direct role in strengthening that support.
Alongside financial support, the PDA continues to work closely with Pharmacist Support to deliver practical wellbeing resources for members, including a programme of free online workshops designed to help manage stress and build resilience.
