PDA Union joins the Together Alliance

The PDA Union is a proudly anti-racist organisation, and is pleased to announce that it has joined the Together Alliance – a new coalition of over 50+ campaigns, organisations and civil society groups, alongside thousands of everyday people, united against the division of the far right.

The voices of division in our country are growing louder and more confident and they must be opposed.

While the far-right use false narratives to seize on the very real economic problems people face to scapegoat others, we know that our society’s strength truly lies in solidarity. That the change we need comes from us working together for hope, not despair, for unity, not for racism.

Where they oppose difference, we celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion, and we know we can change things for the better when we stand together.

Anjlee Shah, PDA Union Assistant General Secretary (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion), says:

“We’re proud to support this campaign, which reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable environment for everyone. Our EDI Networks and the wider PDA organisation plays a vital role in amplifying voices, sharing lived experiences, and driving positive change across the pharmacy profession and beyond. We stand in solidarity with others, rejecting narratives of division and racism and taking a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination. Unity is stronger than division, and together we can ensure that diversity is not just acknowledged but welcomed.”

National demonstration in London – 28 March

The Together campaign will be mobilising and organising in the build-up to a major national demonstration in London next year on Saturday 28 March 2026.

This will be the Alliance’s first public action — and participation will set the tone, showing that the majority of people in this country stand for unity, not division.

Those who would like to join can sign up here and join in this powerful display of solidarity.

Together, we can reject narratives of division and racism; build solidarity across communities; and unite against the far right.
