VACCINATIONS: All vaccinations delivered by suitably trained pharmacists have always been covered by indemnity insurance as part of the standard PDA membership apart from Covid-19. For new membership renewals after January 1st, 2026, Covid-19 vaccinations are now also automatically covered.

The Science Behind Wellbeing – a PDA and Pharmacist Support online workshop

The PDA is pleased to be working with its charity partner, Pharmacist Support on a FREE workshop that has been designed to help members manage stress and improve their mental health.

Melissa Cochrane

Wellbeing Development Manager

Melissa oversees Pharmacist Support’s wellbeing offering and volunteer programmes. She joined Pharmacist Support in 2021 to develop the counselling partnership, their online Wellbeing Learning Platform, and to further develop their wellbeing content. She has since also started the charity’s podcast A Dose of Wellbeing.

Melissa has an extensive background as a counsellor/psychotherapist and as a qualified coach. She has a keen interest in wellbeing and simple practices that can enhance our physical and mental health. She is a Certified Integrated Mental Health Professional with a certificate in Advanced Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health Professionals​ and also has completed a Neuroscience Certificate Course for Clinical Practice: Applying Neuroscience for the Treatment of Trauma, Anxiety and Stress Disorders. She is passionate about helping others to move past what blocks them from living their best lives.
